Lisa Circeo, a founding member of Circeo Fannin, P.S.C., has been an attorney for 24 years and has represented numerous clients in many states during the course of her career. Licensed in seven states, Lisa has litigated and tried cases throughout the United States. Her clients have been awarded verdicts exceeding a total of $70,000,000, including the largest verdict awarded to a victim of nursing home abuse and neglect in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She has successfully obtained settlements for her clients in numerous states after prosecuting cases against corporations on behalf of those wrongfully injured.
Lisa received her B.A., with a double major in Journalism and English, and Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi in 1993 and 1996, respectively. She has been selected to Super Lawyers for 2013-2014, and 2017-2020. She has been asked to speak by the American Association for Justice, Ohio Association for Justice, Kentucky Justice Association and numerous other legal groups on various trial topics.
Lisa is a current member of the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Justice Association. She was awarded the Peter Perlman Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award from the Kentucky Justice Association in September 2019. The award is given to one “who demonstrates exceptional talent as a trial practitioner, fights for the rights of consumers – even when cases and causes may be unpopular- shares his or her legal talents with young lawyers and other members of the bar, and gives back to the legal profession by working with others to protect America’s constitutional right to trial by jury.”
